We’re proud to partner with KFDM to spotlight meaningful topics that matter to our members and community. This month, we’re highlighting our partnership with Lamar Institute of Technology (LIT) and how we’re helping students prepare for their futures, both professionally and financially.

At DuGood, we believe this partnership is about more than bringing financial services to campus. It’s about investing in students and giving them the tools, resources, and confidence to take their next steps. Through our partnership, LIT students have access to a fee free Student Checking account, an LIT-branded debit card, the Enrich financial wellness platform, our exclusive Power On Career Loan, financial workshops, and one-on-one guidance right on campus.

Fall in Southeast Texas is all about community, connection, and a little bit of fun! 🍂💚

Over the past week, team DuGood enjoyed spending time with our neighbors at several community events.

From hitting the green at the Sabine Golf Tournament to celebrating the season at Mont Belvieu Trunk-r-Treat, we loved getting to connect with everyone who stopped by our booth. We also joined in on the Halloween fun at ALTUS Trunk or Treat in Lumberton and enjoyed an evening of sweet treats and community spirit at Port Neches’ Sweet Treats on the Avenue. 🎃🍬

We’re grateful for every opportunity to show up, get involved, and be part of the communities that make Southeast Texas feel like home!

This month’s Pay It Forward spotlight is shining on JoAnn Abel at Baptist Cancer Center! 🩷

A cancer survivor herself, JoAnn brings comfort and encouragement to patients through her candy cart, sharing sweet treats, warm items, coloring sheets, and helpful resources. But beyond the goodies, she offers something even more meaningful: kindness, conversation, and a reminder that patients aren’t alone in their journey.

Thank you, JoAnn, for turning your own experience into an opportunity to brighten someone else’s day. Your generosity is making a difference, one small act of kindness at a time!
