What an unbelievable day in Atmore, Alabama.
I want to take a minute to thank everyone who helped make the 3rd Annual Sharon Brown Car Show not just another event, but an over-the-top success at State Line Pawn, LLC.
I’ll be honest — when the day started out raining, I almost changed the name to The Oprah Winfrey Car Show… you get a trophy, you get a trophy, you get a trophy — everybody gets a trophy! 😂
But we stuck with it. The community stuck with it. And by the end of the day, God blessed us with an awesome day, an even better car show, and memories that I’ll carry with me for the rest of my life.
From the cars, the people, the laughter, the support, the music, the vendors, the sponsors, the families, and everyone who showed up — thank you from the bottom of my heart. This event means so much because it keeps the memory of Sharon Brown alive, and seeing people come together in her honor is something words can’t fully explain.
I also want to give a huge thank-you to State Line Championship Wrestling for helping bring one of the biggest shows in the South to Atmore. A lot of people thought I was crazy for stepping back into the ring at 50 years old, but I didn’t do it for me — I did it for all of you. I did it for the memories, for the fans, for the kids, for this community, and for everyone who believed this day could be something special.
I’m thankful for the people who have faith in me. I’m thankful for the ones who help take these wild ideas in my head and turn them into something real. Sometimes I feel like the guy who created Frankenstein — I start with a vision, a few crazy pieces, a whole lot of heart, and somehow it comes to life.
And this one came to life in a big way.
To everyone who helped, supported, prayed, shared, showed up, sponsored, worked, wrestled, judged, sang, parked cars, sold shirts, handed out trophies, or simply stood there and smiled — thank you. I love you all, and I’ll never forget what you did for me, for State Line Pawn, for Sharon’s memory, and for Atmore.
