Bankable

Bankable is a nonprofit small business lender working to economically educate and empower entrepreneurs in Indiana. Our loans range from $500 up to $250,000.

The Bankable team works with entrepreneurs at any stage of business to build their credit, secure capital, increase financial literacy, and grow sound business foundations to make them Bankable for the future. Being Bankable means that we work to finance, educate, and support small business owners with the goal of getting them to the point where their credit, financial standing, and business know-

how qualifies them for traditional funding. Bankable offers three different loan products: Credit Builder Loans, Microloans, and Community Advantage Loans. We work with for-profit business owners and entrepreneurs who are in need of capital and are unable to secure funds from a traditional bank.

For more than 20 years, Jennifer has dedicated her career to helping others through work in community development, lending, and nonprofit management. Through innovative programs like the Credit Boost Challenge, which helped entrepreneurs strengthen their credit and improved their ability to qualify for traditional financing, she has made a meaningful and lasting impact.

We were honored to partner with the Tipton County Chamber of Commerce for the AI & Financial Foundations workshop!

Yesterday marked the final session, and our team had the opportunity to help Tipton County business owners review their credit reports and learn more about the coaching services Bankable offers. Adam Hoeksema from ProjectionHub also provided a deep dive into Claude AI and showed the power of using AI in developing financial documents.

We’re so glad we had the chance to connect with so many business owners. We look forward to continuing to help small businesses across Tipton County access the resources they need to strengthen their business!

What an incredible summer with our interns! Today marks the last day for two of our interns, and we had such an amazing group this year! From leading bank visits to supporting small business clients, our interns made a meaningful impact on our team. What a great first day of the AI & Financial Foundations workshop with the Tipton County Chamber of Commerce! Our team shared with Tipton County business owners the fundamentals of building credit and how to prepare for a loan. Adam Hoeksema from ProjectionHub gave an introduction to Claude and demonstrated how AI can be used to prepare financial statements.

We’re looking forward to part two of the workshop next week!

Last week, our Bankable marketing interns visited 14 banks across the Anderson area! To thank the banking professionals who help strengthen Indiana's small business community, we handed out bouquets of gum to each branch.

Our interns got to meet even more banking professionals, share what Bankable is doing to support entrepreneurs, and build relationships with our referral partners.

Thank you to every bank we visited for your time. Our interns loved ending the summer this way, and we can't wait to keep helping Indiana's entrepreneurs grow and thrive.

Our Bankable team enjoyed spending the day in downtown Tipton connecting with small business owners! We shared information about the AI & Financial Foundations workshop series coming up on August 10th and 17th. In partnership with the Tipton County Chamber of Commerce, this workshop will help participants learn AI tools for financial planning and help them build a solid business foundation.
