Starting well matters.

Mike Snyder and Josh Autry recently spent time at the Trellis Conference in Oklahoma City, connecting with emerging church leaders who are preparing to answer God’s call to ministry.

Trellis is all about educating, empowering and equipping the next generation of church leaders, and we loved having the opportunity to come alongside them with another important piece of that preparation: building healthy financial habits from the very beginning.

The earlier ministry leaders begin thinking intentionally about saving, stewardship and their financial future, the stronger the foundation they can build for the years ahead.

Mike and Josh enjoyed making new friends, encouraging future ministry leaders and reminding them that they don’t have to figure it all out alone.

We’re grateful for organizations like Trellis that are investing in those God is calling to serve the Church. And we’re grateful to play a small part in helping them begin well so they can serve well for years to come.

David Boots spent the weekend at the Annual Gathering of the Pacific Northwest Association (PNA) of the Church of God in Olympia-Lacey, Washington.

A special highlight was celebrating with PNA Director Frank Borst as he received his ordination! David also enjoyed connecting with Servant Solutions members throughout the Pacific Northwest, sharing the latest news and updates, and encouraging those who are faithfully serving their churches and communities.

Celebrating a faithful season of ministry!
Jim O’Bold recently had the privilege of joining our friends at Tennessee Ministries of the Church of God for their General Assembly and a very special celebration honoring retiring State Minister Bob O’Dell and his wife, Linda.
Bob has faithfully served the churches and pastors of Tennessee for years, and we are grateful for his leadership, friendship, and commitment to the Church of God. Congratulations, Bob and Linda, as you begin this new chapter!
While at the General Assembly, Jim also led an “Investing Well” seminar, helping pastors and ministry leaders consider important questions as they plan for their financial futures.
We’re always grateful for opportunities to spend time with our Church of God family. Thank you, Tennessee Ministries, for welcoming us!

Jen and Ellen were blessed to be on the campus of Mid-America Christian University, MACU. They met up with brand new Servant Solutions colleague, Josh Autry, recently named Oklahoma City representative. MACU was kind enough to host the MRI event, Ministers Renewal Institute. 150 people from Oklahoma and surrounding states converged for a two day experience of sharing, growing, praying for one and another, and learning from one another. Lots of great worship, fellowship, and of course great food. Thank you, MACU and President Phil for being gracious hosts. And congratulations to the new student union building that is being built to accommodate the outpouring of blessings at this place!

Mt. Hawley Community Church in Peoria, Illinois, was among the early church bodies to place their trust in Servant Solutions. Decades later, we’re grateful that relationship continues.

And theirs is a story with deep roots. The congregation traces its beginnings in Peoria back more than 160 years and today continues its connection with the Church of God movement. Through the years, locations and names have changed, but their commitment to sharing the Gospel and serving their community has remained.

Today, Mt. Hawley describes its vision as becoming a Christ-centered, multi-generational and multi-cultural community hub. You can see that vision at work through ministries serving children and families, local schools, people in need throughout Peoria, missionaries around the world and even neighboring congregations.

Thank you, Mt. Hawley Community Church, for allowing Servant Solutions to be a small part of your story for so many years. It is a privilege to serve those who serve.

Last week, Jen and Ellen had the privilege of spending time on the campus of South Florida Bible College in Deerfield Beach, Florida, helping onboard faculty and staff with Servant Solutions.
It was exciting to see firsthand how this college is living out the Great Commission, preparing students to serve while actively reaching into their own community multiple times each month.
We’re grateful for the opportunity to come alongside organizations like South Florida Bible College as they care for the people who are carrying out their mission.
