In 1931, a small group of Dallas teachers applied for a credit union charter. Today, CUTX has grown to more than $1.6 Billion in assets, serving more than 141,000 members in all 50 states. The responsibility for the successful operation of CUTX is vested in a volunteer Board of Directors elected from the membership each year at CUTX's Annual Meeting. CUTX is owned by its members and is operated in

accordance with the laws governing credit unions in the State of Texas. As a member, your deposits are federally insured by the National Credit Union Administration, a United States government agency.

Our SMART Branch students continue to raise the bar! This week, CUTX celebrated the incredible students from Allen, Berkner, and Little Elm who help operate our student-run branches. Since the program began, 184 students have participated, and this year alone, these student leaders delivered more than 350 financial literacy presentations, reaching nearly 9,000 people throughout our communities.
