In 1931, a small group of Dallas teachers applied for a credit union charter. Today, CUTX has grown to more than $1.6 Billion in assets, serving more than 141,000 members in all 50 states. The responsibility for the successful operation of CUTX is vested in a volunteer Board of Directors elected from the membership each year at CUTX's Annual Meeting. CUTX is owned by its members and is operated in

accordance with the laws governing credit unions in the State of Texas. As a member, your deposits are federally insured by the National Credit Union Administration, a United States government agency.

We had a great evening at SpringPark Sports Club for our Financial Literacy Workshop! We invited families from the community to bring their kids to an interactive, educational experience led by the SMART Branch students from Berkner High School. Our SMART Branch students divided everyone into age-appropriate groups and used fun, engaging games and activities to teach important financial concepts like saving, budgeting, making smart spending choices, and understanding the value of money. It was amazing to see the kids learning, participating, asking questions, and—most importantly—having fun while building financial skills that can benefit them for years to come!

Credit Union of Texas was a proud sponsor of 4th Annual Bags For Gold Co****le Tournament, hosted by the Allen Police Department and benefiting Special Olympics Texas. This tournament helps raise funds to support athletes’ participation in Special Olympics locally and provides a fun afternoon of friendly competition. The athletes got in on the competition, too, and showed their stuff. Thank you to all who participated and came together for a great cause! ❤️

We co-hosted another amazing line dance class with Millennial Maven, and WOW, what a turnout! The energy was incredible, and we even had a special guest join us recording artist Mike Clark Jr., who came out and performed his newest hit, “Cups in the Air!” 🎶🔥
