❌ Picking a health insurance plan based on the monthly premium alone?

That's one of the most common — and costly — mistakes people make.

A lower premium might look great on paper, but it can come with higher deductibles, higher out-of-pocket costs, and less coverage when you actually need it. And that's just mistake #1.

Here are a few others we see all the time:

🔹 Not checking if your doctors are in-network
🔹 Skipping the prescription drug coverage review
🔹 Choosing the wrong deductible for your health needs
🔹 Ignoring the out-of-pocket maximum
🔹 Not using your insurance advocate (that's us!)

Health insurance is complex — but you don't have to figure it out alone. We're here to help. Send us a message anytime.

At some point, you stop seeing your father as just your dad. You start seeing the person he was before you, and all that he brought with him the day you arrived.

Fatherhood moves in both directions. A son grows up and becomes a father, and somewhere in that becoming, he understands what his own father could never explain.

A daughter carries her father into rooms he'll never enter, wrapped in his courage and character. And through all of it, the child is guiding the father just as much as the father is guiding the child.

It's less a role than it is a lifelong conversation. One that starts before we're old enough to speak and echoes long after the house goes quiet.

To every father out there: the work you're doing matters more than you know, and it will outlast you in the best possible way.

Happy Father's Day.

🌟 Honoring Juneteenth ✊🖤❤️💚

On June 19, communities across the country come together to observe Juneteenth, marking the day in 1865 when news of freedom finally reached enslaved people in Galveston, Texas, more than two years after the Emancipation Proclamation.

It's a day that holds both profound weight and genuine joy, recognizing a long-awaited step toward freedom and inviting all of us to reflect on the resilience, progress, and possibility that continue to shape our country.

Wherever and however you observe the day, with family, in your community, or in a quiet moment of reflection, we hope it's meaningful.

From our business to you, thank you for being part of our community. 🤎

Bud and Tiffany had a fun time at the Licking County Humane Society Barks and Brew’s. It’s the first time we have went and we are glad we did. For those who are wondering, neither of us came home with a new pet, but they were so cute!!

On June 14 in 1777, the Continental Congress adopted the design of the first American flag — 13 stars, 13 stripes, and the birth of an enduring symbol of freedom and nationhood.

Today we celebrate 249 years of the Stars & Stripes: through wars and peace, triumph and hardship, the flag has flown as a constant reminder of what unites us.

That promise — freedom, dignity, and opportunity — was crafted for all of us. Every American is woven into the fabric of this nation just as surely as every star is sewn into our flag.

When we look at the Stars & Stripes, we're reminded that our strength doesn't come from sameness, it comes from unity, even in the face of differences. Fifty different states. Countless different stories. One flag that flies over all of them.

Flag Day is a wonderful reminder of the ideals the American flag represents. It is a declaration that America is made up of different pieces that are sewn together into a beautiful entity, and that liberty, justice, and opportunity belong to every single American.

Most people think of an HSA as just a way to pay for doctor visits. It's actually a lot more than that.

If you have a high-deductible health plan and you're not contributing to a Health Savings Account, here's what you're missing:

1️⃣ Your contributions reduce your taxable income.
2️⃣ The money grows tax-free.
3️⃣ When you spend it on qualified medical expenses, the withdrawals are tax-free, too.

No other account in the tax code does all three of those things at once.

But here's the part most people overlook... The money never expires. It rolls over every year, you keep it when you change jobs, and you can invest it. If you're relatively healthy right now, you can let that balance grow for decades... tax free. It is a health savings account AND a long-term financial planning tool.

If your health plan is HSA-eligible and you're not contributing, you're paying more in taxes than you have to. That's worth fixing.
