Did you know? Since November of 2023, mortgage interest rates have dropped by roughly 1.5% (source Bankrate.com). In the same timeframe, median home prices have stabilized (source U.S. House Price Index). What does this mean? On a loan amount of $300,000, the monthly house payment is roughly $300 less now than in November of 2023. This was a pleasant surprise for me when I crunched the numbers.
