A new chapter takes flight. 🚁 Westpac New Zealand and Nelson Marlborough Rescue Helicopter are proud to celebrate the launch of the next-generation Airbus H145 rescue helicopter which will serve communities across Nelson, Tasman and Marlborough.

At Westpac, we're thrilled to extend our support into this region and a massive congratulations also to the trust on 35 years of service 🎉

Fun fact: The new Nelson Marlborough Westpac Rescue Helicopter is the 9th chopper to join the Westpac whānau of rescue helicopters across Aotearoa. You can now spot our red and yellow choppers supporting communities across Auckland, Coromandel, Northland, Waikato, Wellington, Nelson, Tasman, Marlborough, West Coast, and Canterbury.

Together, we make the chopper.

What started as a walk in the Coromandel quickly changed for Arthur after a fall left him unable to walk out.

Thanks to the Auckland Westpac Rescue Helicopter crew, he was safely flown to care. 🚁
