Styling can make a huge difference to how a property looks, feels and connects with buyers. Emily from shares some of the leading trends she’s seeing in the interior design space.
Warm earthy tones like terracotta, clay, moss green, ochre and chocolate brown are replacing cooler greys. This creates spaces that feel more natural, welcoming and lived in, especially as we move into the cooler months.
Layered texture is also a key trend, with linen, wool, velvet and woven fibres adding warmth, softness and depth. Simple touches like cushions, throws and rugs can completely change how a space feels.
Natural materials continue to be a timeless favourite. Timber, stone, ceramics and woven finishes bring warmth and character, while styling pieces like marble trays and rattan baskets are an easy way to introduce that look.
When it comes to real estate, presentation plays such an important role in how buyers connect with a home. It’s not just about how a property looks, but how it feels when someone walks through the door.
