CGC Malaysia hosted its Malam Penghargaan CGC 2026 in Johor Bahru on 17 August 2026, bringing together valued partners and stakeholders to celebrate the resilience and contributions of Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs), while recognising the collaborative efforts that continue to strengthen Malaysia’s entrepreneurial ecosystem.
The event was graced by YB Puan Nadhirah Afiqah binti Abdull Rahim, Deputy Chairman of the Johor State Youth and Sports, Entrepreneurship Development and Cooperatives Committee, as Guest of Honour and attended by representatives from Bank Negara Malaysia, Trade Associations, State Government Agencies, Financial Institutions (FIs), Development Financial Institutions (DFIs) and CGC Board of Directors and Management Team. From meaningful engagements to a vibrant showcase of Johor's cultural heritage, the evening reflected a strong spirit of partnership and a shared commitment towards empowering Malaysian MSMEs.
The event underscored the vital contribution of MSMEs in driving economic growth, employment creation, supply chain development and community prosperity. It also reaffirmed CGC’s commitment to collaborating with partners and stakeholders across the ecosystem to enhance access to financing and drive the sustainable growth of MSMEs.
More than an appreciation event, the evening reaffirmed the importance of collaboration in building a stronger, more inclusive and resilient MSME ecosystem. As Johor continues to strengthen its economic momentum, CGC remains committed to working together with its partners to ensure that entrepreneurs are well-positioned to participate in and contribute to the state’s growth.
