The Elevate Alumni Networking Session brought together graduates from all five cohorts last night at L'Éden KL.

We were honoured to welcome Datin Paduka Azalina Adham, Managing Director of the Securities Commission Malaysia , as our distinguished guest. She shared a forward-looking perspective on the Capital Markets Master Plan 2026–2030, the funding opportunities available through MyCIF and NIMP CoSIF for growth-stage companies, and the development of LEAP Market 2.0.

The evening also featured two alumni presentations:
✨ Leon Goh, Founder of Gourmet Ingredient (Cohort 1), shared his innovation journey on the decisions, pivots, and milestones that shaped his company's growth since completing the programme.
✨ Patrick Hew, Founder of Avares (Cohort 5), presented practical AI and digitalisation use cases relevant to SMEs navigating the current business landscape.

Beyond the presentations, the session created meaningful space for alumni to reconnect, exchange perspectives, and explore new business opportunities across cohorts.

The Elevate Alumni networking event aims to foster a community of growth-minded business leaders who continue to support one another well beyond the programme. We look forward to building on this momentum.

We backed Hata Digital early. They just closed RM31.6 million.

But the number isn't the story.

The story is a founding team that set out to build Malaysia's digital asset ecosystem the right way with regulation, compliance, and investor protection at the core. When most crypto platforms were moving fast and skipping steps, HATA was doing the paperwork nobody wanted to do.

Dual-licensed by the SC and Labuan FSA before going to market. Not after. Before.

Hata has grown to over 209,000 users and processed more than RM1 billion in transaction volume. Bybit, the world's second-largest crypto exchange, participating in their seed and returning to lead their Series A.

1337 Ventures has exited our position. Proud of this one.
