Tallaght & Firhouse Credit Union Community based not- for- profit financial co-operative. Owned & controlled by members- for members.

Tallaght and District Credit Union Ltd was founded over 50 years ago by the Prior of the Dominican Father. Father Paul Hynes who appointed father Pauix Doherty to get volunteers to set up a Credit Union for Tallaght and surrounding area, and since its inception in autumn 1968 it has got bigger and stronger every year.

We really appreciate the time and care taken to review over 45 applications from incredible local clubs and groups across Tallaght and Firhouse — the effort, passion and impact behind each application was truly noted 💛

Everyone at Tallaght and Firhouse Credit Union would like to wish the very best of luck to all the amazing women taking part in this year's Vhi Women's Mini Marathon in support of their chosen charities.

Whether you're walking, jogging, or running, your commitment, determination, and generosity are helping to make a real difference in communities both locally and nationally.
