We’re thrilled to share that planning permission has now been granted for the redevelopment of our Greystones branch. This is an exciting next step for Core Credit Union and our members.

Following the successful merger of Core Credit Union and Greystones and District Credit Union, this milestone marks a very positive step forward in our shared future and long-term investment in the local community.

This development represents so much more than a building project. It’s about strengthening our presence in the heart of Greystones, enhancing the products and services we can offer members into the future, and continuing the Core Credit Union commitment to sustainable community development.

Alongside a modernised Credit Union space, the development will also deliver much-needed town-centre homes, supporting the long-term vibrancy of the local community and economy.

Over the coming months, the project will move into the next phase, including detailed design progression and the building tender process, as we work towards construction commencing in line with the project timeline.

We’re excited to bring this vision to life and look forward to sharing the journey with you every step of the way.

We were delighted to attend the opening ceremony of the Shankill Men's Shed, alongside local representatives.
