Rightmove has just dramatically changed its 2026 outlook — from +2% growth to somewhere between 0% and -2%.

For buyers and particularly people moving up the ladder, a softer market could mean:

🚨 A genuine bit of good mortgage news this week. Metro Bank has launched a 100% Joint Borrower Sole Proprietor mortgage — designed for buyers with the income but not the deposit, backed by a family member who won’t own any part of the property.

Won’t be right for everyone, but if you’ve been told you’re “not quite there yet”, this might change that.
