Want to pay off your mortgage sooner? 💰

Making an overpayment means paying a little extra on top of your regular mortgage payment - it's one of the simplest ways to cut interest and clear your mortgage sooner.

Even an extra £50 a month could cut years off your term and save thousands in interest over time.

Just remember to check first - some lenders limit how much you can overpay each year (often around 10% of your outstanding balance if you're on a fixed rate).

If your fixed rate is ending soon, you don't want to end up on your lender's standard variable rate by accident - it's usually much higher than what you're currently paying.

Most lenders let you lock in a new rate 3-6 months before your current deal ends, so it's worth checking sooner rather than later.
