In 2024, we proudly celebrated our 170th anniversary, reflecting on our longstanding commitment to our Members and our deep-rooted community values. We continue to evolve by combining traditional mutual values with modern, efficient services that ensure we meet the needs of today’s Members. As a trusted local building society, we are deeply committed to our community. In celebration of our 170th year, our colleagues volunteered a collective 170 days to support local causes. We proudly partner with and support local charities, including Alice, Dougie Mac Hospice, Glow, and YMCA, through ongoing charitable initiatives. Additionally, the Hanley at Home Fund, launched in partnership with the Community Foundation for Staffordshire, has already contributed £8,000 to local projects. We operate six branches across Staffordshire: Biddulph, Festival Park, Hanley City Centre, Longton, Newcastle-under-Lyme, and Stone, where we continue to provide dedicated, personalized service to all our Members.

From building savings to making memories that last a lifetime. One lucky Member has been selected as the winner of our £10,000 Jet Set Saver Holiday Voucher Prize Draw.

Our lucky winner has chosen to remain anonymous, but has kindly agreed to share what winning means to them and their family:

"We only managed to have a short staycation this year, so we're looking forward to a family holiday abroad. I have two boys at university and the eldest will graduate next year and neither of them have ever been beyond Europe, so I hope to send them on an epic holiday of a lifetime as a graduation present.
