Dear Norfolk Squash Family,

We are heartbroken and still coming to terms with the sudden loss of Craig Aldred. It is hard to put into words just how much he meant to the squash community. Craig was not only the cornerstone of squash coaching at EATSC formerly Barnham Broom and a fixture of Norfolk Squash, but also a familiar, friendly presence supporting everyone he met.

He was truly at the heart of our community. Craig’s dedication, warmth, and consistency shaped the experience of so many squash players. His coaching was of the highest standard, but it was his genuine care for people that made such a lasting impact. He will be deeply missed by us all. Our thoughts and heartfelt condolences are with his family and close friends during this incredibly difficult time.

His wife has shared the news on Facebook, and you can find her message here: https://www.facebook.com/share/17Fy5sFrbM/?mibextid=wwXIfr

EATSC Court 1 will be closed throughout next week and will be available as a quiet space for everyone to pay their respects and remember Craig. You are welcome to bring tributes, however, please keep in mind that all items will be passed on to his family at the end of the week. While flowers may be difficult to deliver, cards and non-perishable items would be most appropriate.

With deepest sympathy,
Norfolk Squash

It is with great sadness that we announce that Craig tragically passed away yesterday in a motorcycle accident (4th April 2026)

Our hearts have been shattered into a million pieces, and our lives won't ever be the same without him. Those of you that had the fortune of knowing Craig will know he had a heart of gold.

Please kindly share this with anyone you know that had coaching from Craig as we are unable to reach out directly to anyone who had upcoming lessons booked.

Love Paula & Joe ###

Amazing Ada gets England call up!!

Norfolk's Ada Brown has been called up to the England Squad where she will represent her country for the under 13 girls' team. A truly fantastic achievement.

Ada has had a stellar junior career; winning national titles and topping the rankings in her age group.

Hard work has certainly paid off for Ada, who can be found most days honing her skills on court at East Anglia Tennis & Squash Club.

Everyone connected to Norfolk Squash is so proud of Ada and her accomplishments so far.
