Colin Richards had a lovely finish to last week at the Stowmarket & District Chamber of Commerce October meeting which incorporated a visit to Doucy Brewery Company at Bacton.

Colin commented "The family business was started in 2018 by Alan and John Ridealgh with Alan previously working at Muntons Maltings for over 40 years. It was great to hear their journey to date including the development of the brewery and negotiating Covid. Their passion came across together with their love of Suffolk which is reflected in the inspiration for their beer’s names. It was also great to get to understand the brewing process, their marketing strategy and also to discover that all barley is sourced locally from Suffolk farmers.

It was also lovely to meet over coffee a number of different local businesses who were also in attendance".

Colin and the team at Credo love to see how local businesses are developing, plus hearing about their success stories!

Yesterday, Colin Richards attended the Brown & Co rural auction of farm machinery and equipment at Topcroft, Bungay. 🚜

It was fantastic to catch up with so many familiar faces in the farming community and meet new connections! After the auction, Colin visited one of our farming clients who was following the auction online, eagerly awaiting the opportunity to bid on a specific lot.

It was great to catch up with Kelly and James Beales from Capricorn Campers today at the Norfolk Showground for the Motorhome and Caravan show.

It's been over 10 years since we had our first conversations with them, and it's great to see them doing so well.

A beautiful day to look around and dream about life on the open road... 🚐 💨

Bara who works in our admin team and Will who is our founder, Simon Gray's son, were married on Thursday 11th January.

Today we held our annual Credo Christmas Bake-off to raise a few quid for charity, plus it's a chance for us to show off our culinary skills!

We decided to make this a triple event by adding Christmas jumper day and secret santa! 🎅🤩

The standard of gifts were high this year, even on a £10 budget! 🎁

Well done Lauren Seeney for winning the bake-off and £50 was raised for RNLI 👏

Christmas is a season for giving, and here at Credo this is no exception, so in lieu of spending money on Christmas cards for all our customers this year, we have instead donated £500 to Community Sports Foundation.

Supporting this great local charity, especially at this time of year, really will make a difference to the lives of people in the communities in which we at Credo do business.
