Back from my Summer holiday 🏖️ mountains of washing, footballs not coming home 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁥󠁮󠁧󠁿 😢 and a dozen lender emails that they’re increasing their rates this week! Reality sucks.

So heads up to anyone that has a deal ending in the next 6 months, get in touch with me for a whole of market professional shop around & independent advice. Don’t wait for your existing lenders offers as sadly they will take another few months to land…… & will subsequently be higher than today’s rates 💰

I’ve been reminded this month why I’m so strong on protection, and 5* Defaqto rated protection…. Otherwise I’d rather lose the sale to be honest. All my clients will recognise that sentence, following example explains why guys 👌

A first time buyer called me 18 months in, asked how they were getting on and sadly one of them has a critical illness and been in hospital for a month or so and not been able to work 😔 talked through their protection policy as they were advised INCORRECTLY when they called the company ( a complaint I hear a lot when I’m trying to advise…. Ooh they never pay out). Escalation through my contacts with said company and now my client will receive a lump sum to ensure they are mortgage free ✔️ with one less (huge) thing to worry about. This particular illness would not have been covered by 90% of the online plans you can access direct!

Being a good Broker isn’t just about the best rates and getting your keys 🔑 this made me very proud today. Wishing the client a speedy recovery ❤️ & as a religious couple they said thank God they were recommended to me 💕 can’t get a bigger compliment than that!
