From supporting local film to helping get one made! 🎬
We've been proud supporters of the Crystal Palace International Film Festival for many years, so when we heard about a new film being made right here in Crystal Palace, we were delighted to get behind it.
Acid Pigz is a comedy farce written and directed by local resident John Osborne Hughes, filmed on the streets of Crystal Palace in September, with a cast and soundtrack featuring some brilliant talent.
And the storyline? Two Met Police officers, a prize-winning Persian cat and a pot of tea that turns out to be rather more potent than expected. We'll leave the rest to your imagination!
The team are hoping to premiere the film on home turf at the Crystal Palace International Film Festival in February, at Everyman Crystal Palace.
We've made a contribution to the film's crowdfunding campaign, which is helping to fund the final stages of post-production and its festival journey.
