Next up in our Staff Spotlight Series is Carol, and this one is all about resilience, consistency, and pushing limits.. 🥰
At the finish line of her first Marathon in 2012, Carol said she’d never do another. She crossed it in tears… and says she meant every word.
Since then? Carol’s completed 10 marathons and further ultra runs of 50km and 55km. And she’s already setting her sights on an 80km too! 🏃🏻♀️➡️
Carol doesn’t run for medals, she runs for the challenge. For pushing through the moments where you think you can’t go on… and finding a way anyway.
Carol’s logged 17,137km and 1,826 hours of running, often fitting it in around work and life (and yes… it’s all logged on Strava)! But her most meaningful run was her 55km challenge, dedicated to her best friend Tracy, who passed away just weeks before. Supported virtually by friends along the way, Carol was never alone for a single step.
For Carol, running is more than just fitness. It’s how she manages stress, stays focused, and keeps moving forward, no matter what life throws her way.
And perhaps that’s what makes her story so relatable… it’s not about being the fastest or the strongest, it’s about showing up, even when it’s hard.
We're proud of every run Carol 👏🏼
