On Friday 16th October, we hosted our 10-Year Anniversary Ball at The Engine Shed in Lincoln.

After months of planning, over 200 guests were seated for a 3-course meal, stand-up comedy, a charity raffle, and live music.

Almond Financial’s CEO Sam Robinson AdvDipFA Chartered ALFBF and Managing Director Emma Ashby DipFA graced the stage at the start of the night, reflecting on their incredible journey since the business launched in 2016.

It was a great opportunity to thank everyone who has supported us over the past decade, as well as premiere our 10-minute documentary style video about the story of Almond Financial.

We welcomed Rachel Wilson to the stage on behalf of Lincs & Notts Air Ambulance, our Charity of the Year, who highlighted the importance of the Charity, and thanked everyone for their donations.

All ticket proceeds and raffle donations from the evening will go to Lincs and Notts Air Ambulance.

We wanted to say a special thank you to the following:
- Emmanuel Sonubi for a fantastic stand-up comedy set
- Sheet Show for getting everyone up and dancing at the end of the night
- Sinple Treats for the tastiest table favours
- Freya Townsend for designing our limited edition 10-Year plushies

This year marked a decade of business for Almond Financial.

To celebrate such an occasion, we worked closely with Bullet Media to take a deep dive into Almond Financial’s origin story, creating a 10 minute documentary-style video which premiered at our 10-Year Anniversary ball last week.

Almond Financial’s CEO, Sam Robinson, shares how his life changed when he transitioned from being a chef, to launching his own financial advice firm from his spare bedroom at home.

Managing Director Emma Ashby also features in the video, alongside Almond Financial’s Advisors Benjamin Crofts, and Lewis Chapman.

There are also appearances from Sam’s closest friends, and Almond Financial’s Non-Executive Directors, who contribute to the story of the company’s success.
