🛡️💛 After experiencing a number of anti-social behaviour incidents, Rugby Thornfield Outdoor Bowls Club approached the Society through our Community Sponsorship Scheme for support to improve their security.

The club welcomes people aged 11 to 91 and provides an important social outlet for many local people, so we were pleased to help.

Treasurer Mark Noble told us what the Society's support has delivered:

"The grant allowed us to install a comprehensive CCTV system covering the club premises, helping us protect our buildings and equipment while providing greater reassurance and peace of mind for our members, visiting bowlers and guests. Since the system was installed, we have thankfully had no further incidents. The support from Hinckley & Rugby Building Society has therefore made a real and lasting difference to the security of our club and to the confidence of the people who use it."

🤝 It's great to see the difference local funding can make, helping community groups continue to provide safe and welcoming spaces for people to come together.
