Amateur Operatic Society. Our hugely talented and enthusiastic membership ranges from ages 8 to 80! We own our own rehearsal rooms and theatre named the Tomkins Theatre which is situated on Whitecross Road in Hereford. This super
b venue can be hired for private events and parties when we are not rehearsing there. Hereford Musical Theatre Company stages major musicals every year at the Courtyard Theatre. We are renowned for our professional standards even though we are amateurs. We sing, dance, act, all with excellent lighting, staging and sound. We love entertaining the audiences of Hereford. We have a thriving youth theatre which meets on
Sunday afternoons and stages its own show every
February at the Tomkins Theatre and sometimes there are opportunities for youth members to be involved in the Courtyard productions. We also produce other smaller shows doted throughout the year such as our Summer Showcase and dazzling Christmas Show again staged at our own Tomkins Theatre. We are a charity and always welcome support, be that financial through advertising or sponsorships, or voluntary assistance with anything ranging from costumes, to backstage, front of house to fundraising, publicity and promotion.
