**NATIONWIDE MORTGAGE RATE CUT**

Nationwide has announced a cut to its mortgage rates, bringing some of its fixed-rate deals down to some of the lowest levels seen for a while. This move is aimed at supporting both first-time buyers and people looking to move home, making borrowing more affordable at a time when many are still feeling the pressure of higher interest rates. The reductions apply across a range of two, three and five-year fixed products, helping buyers access better monthly repayments and improved affordability.

In addition, Nationwide is continuing to offer extra incentives, including cashback for first-time buyers and additional rewards for purchasing energy-efficient homes through its Green Reward scheme. These changes are designed to boost confidence in the housing market and give buyers more financial support when taking their next step, whether that’s getting onto the property ladder or moving to a new home.
