🎄✨ Fareham Christmas Lights Switch-On – FAQs ✨🎄

We can't wait to welcome you to Fareham’s annual Christmas Lights Switch-On on Saturday 22 November 2025! Here are some frequently asked questions to help you plan your visit:

📍 Where & When?
The event runs from 10am–7pm in the pedestrianised area of West Street and inside Fareham Shopping Centre . The funfair rides, games and Christmas market will be running on Sunday 23 November too, from 10am to 4pm!

💡 What time are the lights switched on?
At 5:30pm under the bandstand in West Street, by the Mayor of Fareham, panto characters, and Santa! 🎅

🎪 What’s happening on the day?
(subject to weather):
Funfair rides and games (cash preferred due to high footfall) on 22 and 23 November!
Food and drink concessions
Free children’s activities: Lego building, Christingle making, festive crafts, letters to Santa, reindeer food, Santa sleigh photo op and meet Santa
Street performers and live entertainment on the community stage and under the bandstand
Panto cast walkabout

🛍️ Christmas Gift Market
Hosted by Funyard Events inside Fareham Shopping Centre (former Clarks unit near Costa and Next), the market will be open 10am-7pm on 22 November and 10am-4pm on 23 November.
Cash and card accepted. Dogs welcome!
