You can’t fake caring.

I say it all the time because it’s true—and people notice.
Got a message this week from someone I helped recently. I gave them honest advice, even though it meant telling them to stick with a policy from another provider. No angle. No sales pitch. Just what was best for them.

They took the time to thank me for that.

And honestly, that means more to me than any deal.

Because for me, if the client is safe, that’s a win. Simple as that.
I’m not in this to squeeze short-term gains—I’m in it to build real trust, long-term.

That’s what I’ll always stand by.

Bridging the Gap Between Human Care and Cyber Care 🤝💻

Just had a really useful chat with Adam Smith from CloudHost Limited Limited — they’re experts in cybersecurity and risk mitigation for organisations that absolutely can’t afford to get it wrong. Thanks again, Adam — hugely appreciated!

Why does it matter?

Friends and family please share this out so no organisation feels helpless!

Okay, confession time: I’m an insurance nerd, well just a nerd in general.

But here’s the thing — not all insurance is created equal, and some of it actually makes a difference in people’s lives. Like the stuff I do with child contact centres.

If you’ve never heard of them, they’re places that help parents and children spend time together safely — often in tough family circumstances. And as a dad of two, I honestly couldn’t imagine needing somewhere just to see my kids. That hits different.

So I’ve made it my mission to help these places in the way I know how: by making sure they’re properly protected. That means:

Helping insurers understand that these centres are not risky chaos zones, but safe, well-managed spaces doing important work.

Helping the centres themselves understand insurance without needing a dictionary or a headache.

It’s serious work, but I try not to take myself too seriously. If I can make a difference for even a few of these organisations — and throw in a few dad jokes along the way — I’m winning.

A big thank you to the NACCC and all the dedicated workers who joined me on the recent coffee chat webinar! It was nice to be able to assist such a vital service. sharing insights into the fundamentals of child contact centre insurance—including some of the most common mistakes that supported centres face.

Child contact centres provide an essential service for families, organisational workers having confidence in speaking about insurance is crucial to ensuring their protection and continuity. I’m passionate about helping centres navigate these challenges so they can focus on what truly matters: supporting children and families.

I’m looking forward to the upcoming session later this month, where I’ll be discussing key considerations for supervised centres. If you have any questions about insurance for your centre, feel free to reach out!
