Office Closure Notice

Please be advised that our office will be closed on Wednesday 21st October to allow our team to attend the funeral of John Whippy, founder of John Whippy Insurance Brokers.

John Whippy – Funeral Announcement

Thank you to everyone for all the lovely messages, kind words and support we have received since John’s passing. It has meant so much to us.

John’s funeral will take place on Wednesday 21st October at 11am

The funeral service will be held at St Mary’s Church, Westham, BN24 5LP.

The wake will follow at The Royal Oak & Castle Inn, Pevensey, BN24 5LE.

Family flowers only. We would like to thank St Wilfrid’s Hospice in Eastbourne for the wonderful care and compassion they gave John and our family. They do an incredible job, and we would be very grateful for any donations in John’s memory via the following link:

What a fantastic evening at the Children's Respite Trust (CRT) Comedy Night on Friday! 😂

We had a brilliant time at the Sports Bar at Eastbourne Borough FC with four fantastic comedians who had everyone laughing throughout the night.

A huge thank you to the CRT for hosting such a great event and congratulations on raising over £4,000 on the night! 👏

We would also like to say a special thank you to Gavin Fisher and everyone at the CRT for taking the time to pay tribute to John Whippy following his passing last week. It was a very thoughtful and touching gesture, and was very much appreciated by everyone at John Whippy Insurance Brokers and the family. ❤️

If you missed Friday's event, make sure you keep an eye out for the CRT Comedy Night in February. We'd definitely recommend booking a place and supporting this fantastic local charity.

And if comedy isn't your thing, CRT's Masquerade Ball on 14th November is another fantastic event in the calendar. It's one of the charity's largest events of the year and promises to be a brilliant evening in support of an incredibly worthwhile cause. 🎭✨
