CTH Insurance will sponsor the Isle of Man Indoor Bowling Association’s league programme for the 2026/27 season.

The partnership will support the season of competitive and social bowling for players of different ages and abilities.

Based at the National Sports Centre in Douglas, the Association runs team, pairs, triples and singles leagues from October to March. It also offers coaching for novice and junior bowlers and friendly round-robin sessions.

Alan Moore of the Isle of Man Indoor Bowling Association said: “We are delighted that
CTH Insurance will be sponsoring our league programme for the 2026/27 season.
“Its support helps us deliver an enjoyable and competitive programme that brings
people together from across the Island. We are very grateful to CTH for continuing to
support our players and bowling community.”

The sponsorship coincides with CTH Insurance’s centenary in 2026. Established in
1926, the independent broker serves Isle of Man residents and businesses from
Douglas and Ramsey. Alex Freeman, Managing Director of CTH Insurance, said: “As we celebrate 100 years in business, we are proud to support organisations that contribute to Island life. “The Association helps people of different ages and experience levels stay active, compete and enjoy a welcoming community. We wish every team and player a successful 2026/27 season.”

Last year, insurers paid out over £7,800,000 in claims on behalf of CTH customers.
It's a figure that highlights the importance of having the right cover in place before the unexpected happens.

The majority of this money goes back into the local island economy supporting garages, trades, retailers and other local businesses.
