It's that time of year you're all waiting for.

No, not when Santa is coming, although that's really important!

We're talking about our opening hours for the festive period. It's a long weekend break this year, so we'll be closing on a Wednesday and re-opening on the following Monday.

So to let our colleagues make the most of the holidays, we will be working with reduced staffing level, so please bear with us on these days.

Both "Eve's" will see the offices close at 1pm but remember, when the office is closed, you can still email us and we'll pick those up when we re-open.

So, to all of our customers, existing, past and future, we wish you all the very best and thank you for all your support this year!

The Isle of Man Government has declared a Major Incident for the continuing Storm conditions affecting the Island, today, Friday 24th January 2025.

With this in mind, we have taken the decision to keep our offices closed for the remainder of the day. This is to safeguard our staff but also others around the Island trying to make things safe.

We remain available through our other methods of communication but would recommend email as the best path, so please do contact us on [email protected] with as much information about how we can help.

Please stay safe and do not travel unless completely necessary.

Well, it wouldn't be winter without some more storms would it. This one's looking to hit the UK, Isle of Man and then Ireland with some force over the weekend but it appears to be sneaking in across the Irish Sea overnight on Thursday so get your storm preparations done early.

Remember as a homeowner/property owner, you should maintain your property in a good condition to weather normal storm conditions but sometimes damage can still occur. Take all possible precautions to ensure nothing is loose that could blow around and cause damage and regularly inspect trees that are within influencing distance of your buildings to help against unexpected or avoidable damage.

Welcome to 2025! If you're a prospective, existing or past customer, we're open again tomorrow at 9am to welcome you to a brand new year.

We've got some exciting developments coming over the next year to help make insuring with us easier while still providing support when you need it.

All this while we start thinking about the celebrations for our Centenary in 2026! As the longest established Insurance provider on the Isle of Man, we remain fully committed to our customers and residents of the Island.

So, that's the end of the working year for us now. We closed the doors and phone lines at 1pm today as we wave goodbye to 2024.

It's been a big year for us. We continue to support the Isle of Man as one of the few locally owned Insurance providers and with more people wanting the ability to call or visit a local office, providing that remains really important to us. As such, during 2024, we've seen the finishing touches to the new office design for Ramsey office, new premises for our Douglas office and all of that while it's been one of the busiest years we've seen.

We would like to thank all of our customers for their support over the year and into 2025.

Our offices are now closed for the Christmas break. We will re-open on Friday 27th December at 9am.

In the meantime, you can still pay renewals on our portal, request quotes on our website or send us an email that we'll see on Friday morning!

This evening, we will be celebrating a busy year here are CTH Insurance with our Christmas Party, when our colleagues get a chance to let their hair down (where applicable 😃).

To allow enough time to get ready for such an event, we will, just for today, be closing our doors at 4pm today (Friday 13th December) to let everyone get home.

We appreciate your understanding and we will be back open at 9am on Monday!

You'd be hard pressed to have missed the change in the weather today but given the high winds and driving rain, it's never too late to give a little reminder to drive to the conditions but also for your property; secure anything loose, especially sheds, garden furniture and gates.

It's only going to get worse overnight and into Saturday, so it's worth one quick check before you settle in for the night!
