𝗧𝗵𝗲 𝗯𝗮𝗻𝗸 𝘀𝗮𝗶𝗱 𝗻𝗼. 𝗪𝗲 𝗱𝗶𝗱𝗻'𝘁.
He hadn't planned on buying on his own.
The divorce had been finalised six months earlier. The family home was sold, and the equity was split. He walked away with enough for a deposit and a fresh start, and after a few months of renting, he decided he was ready to buy something of his own.
He went to his bank first. Filled in the forms, waited a week, and got turned down.
No real explanation. Just no.
He couldn't work out what the problem was. He had a deposit. He had a stable income. He'd always managed his finances responsibly. The bank wasn't particularly forthcoming about why.
A friend suggested he speak to Oviso. He wasn't hugely optimistic at this point, but he made the call.
Oviso searched thousands of products across the whole market to find the right deal for his circumstances.
They sat down with him and explained clearly what everything would cost, not just the monthly repayments, but the full picture.
Then they prepared his application.
Mortgage offered. No drama.
Oviso took care of all the paperwork and liaised directly with the lender, solicitor and surveyor, so he didn't have to. And, kept him updated throughout the whole process so he always knew exactly where things stood.
He collected the keys to his first home six weeks later.
