We have had a very busy event diary recently.

Thank you to ITC Travel for the invite to join them at the League Managers Association awards dinner at Grosvenor House London.

At Grosvenor Insurance we are proud of the personal service we offer and value the relationships we have built with our clients and partners.

A lovely morning for Rebecca Bell visiting Pickles Chester Wine Bar in Handbridge, Chester. Although describing Pickles solely as a wine bar is doing it a disservice. It's been beautifully refurbished and you will find a glorious wine bar and bottle shop with the most amazing array of wines and spirits. You can pick up everything from something regular to enjoy with dinner or an exquisitely unusual bottle as a gift or for a special occasion.

Samantha is so informed on all things wine, fizz and sparkle you can rely on her specialist advice if you are navigating your way amongst the pinot grigios or chardonnays of this world. They have expertise in beer too and always willing to give advice. A great way to experience Pickles is on one of the numerous tasting events involving champagne, wine, cheese, book clubs and chocolate evenings. At Grosvenor Insurance it is always a pleasure to work with local businesses and join them on their journey as they grow, ensuring that they have the right cover in place from business liability, to cyber protection and directors and officers. Assisting Pickles and ensuring that they can enjoy worry free trading has been a particular pleasure due to the fact that Samantha and the team have created such a remarkably beautiful and arguably niche business which can only be achieved with dedication, hard work and knowing ‘their’ trade as well as they do.

We have no intention of leaving it until renewal time for our next visit. We will be looking at calling in to sample one of their delights, special evenings or to purchase a bottle of something nice during the coming months.

We were excited to attend the preview day at Bolesworth International for this year's Al Shira'aa Bolesworth International that starts 26 June.

This year the theme is 'The Art of Horsepower' with classic cars - including the inaugural Bolesworth Concours - and supercars alongside international showjumping. It's going to be amazing.

Happy Cheshire Day - the day to celebrate the rich history, culture, and contributions of our great county that we’re proud to work in. 30 March marks when King Edward I granted Cheshire its historic Charter of Liberties in 1300.

While celebrating all that Cheshire has to offer, we're sharing some of the companies we work with that make Cheshire great. We are honoured to support Bolesworth, Manor House Stables, Kelsall Hill Equestrian Centre and Active Leisure, organisers of the Chester 10k half marathon and marathon, with their insurance requirements.

It was a great weekend being back at Kelsall Hill Equestrian Centre for the Kelsall Hill Small Pony Premier.

We were thrilled to support this event to see the children perform and the chance to see some of the stars of the future. We sponsored two classes - congratulations to our class winners:

🏆Olivia Lewington riding Mister Proper in the 138cm Second Round

Beth Scriven-Jones was on site for the winners presentations, and answering any insurance questions to support the event.
