Not every story has a happy ending… 💔

Last month, we supported two brave couples through what can only be described as the most difficult moment of their lives.

Both mums were excitedly expecting and had reached the 20-week scan milestone. Tragically, neither received the news they were hoping for, and both were faced with the unimaginable decision to terminate their pregnancies.

Nothing can take away the pain of that experience, but because they had protection in place, they didn’t have the added stress of worrying about money. Both families received £5,000 each. It won’t fix everything, but it meant the mums could take time to rest, grieve, and begin to heal, without the pressure of rushing back to work.
