Base rate increase❗️

The Bank of England has increased the base rate 0.25% to 4%.

Anyone currently on a tracker or variable mortgage, will receive correspondence from your lender explaining what your new payments will be.

If you have any questions about this or your mortgage is coming up for renewal, contact me!

Your home may be repossessed if you do not keep up repayments on your mortgage.

A Mortgage Capacity Report is a formal document prepared to assess an individual's financial capacity to secure a mortgage.

In most instances, this type of document is required when a couple have split up and have to provide evidence to Court as to how much they can borrow post-separation.

Protection🛡️

If you don’t have adequate insurance policies in place, how do you expect your mortgage to be paid if you fell ill?

Statutory Sick Pay is £123.25 a week, which will make it very difficult for you to make your mortgage payment and bills.

Taking out life cover protects your family in case you pass away during the term of the policy, meaning they would have funds made available to them, that would clear your mortgage debt in full and not leave them with a payment on their own.
