On Sunday, Hutton Cricket Club’s Women’s 1st XI were crowned Essex Premier League Champions for the second time, following a convincing 143-run victory over Woodford Wells.

Here at Flagstone, it is important for us to keep developing our advisers and support them with ensuring their product knowledge is up to date. We hold regular away days to focus on training and recently had the pleasure of being hosted by HSBC for our quarterly team meeting in Canary Wharf.

It was a jam-packed agenda gaining new product knowledge and industry updates from HSBC and Aviva, as well as allowing us time to focus on the importance of providing our clients with valuable protection advice.

Having recently launched a new client management system to help improve our client journey, this also gave the team a good opportunity to share their knowledge, ideas and feedback. This new technology will help us improve communications to our clients and speed up our mortgage application process.

Thank you also to Roxanne Barker and Brian Willis for coming along and meeting the team, and of course HSBC for hosting us.

We’ve really enjoyed following the progress of our sponsored youth football team,
Woodham Radars FC U13s Avengers, throughout the season. ⚽

After finishing runners-up in their League Cup, topping their group stages and securing a strong finish in their league division, it’s been fantastic to see the team’s hard work and dedication pay off.

As a well-deserved reward for all their effort this season, we donated some much-needed new footballs and it was great to see them already getting stuck into preparations for next season!

A huge congratulations to the players, coaches and everyone involved, we’re proud to support this team and be small part of their journey. 👏
