Tip 4 - Keep Good Records

As part of our managing claims series, here's tip four. Your records are one of your most important protections. 🗂️

If an accident occurs, we may need:

📋 Accident report form
📝 Staff statements
📹 CCTV footage
📄 RIDDOR/Ofsted notification
🔍 Copy of any internal investigation
📸 Photos of the area and any equipment involved
👧 Staff to child ratios at the time
🏥 An update on the recovery of the injured party
💬 Copies of any dialogue with parents

Good records tell the story accurately. So keep them up to date and easy to find. ✅
