Big ideas, brilliant teamwork, and our very own Dragons’ Den! 🐉

Yesterday’s Open House Day brought colleagues from across the organisation together to explore the full member experience, learn about the latest service updates, and share some of their most memorable success stories.

Regardless of their role, we want every colleague to understand how each department contributes to the complete member journey. Each team plays an important part, and bringing those parts together allows us to deliver a smooth, consistent, and joined-up experience to everyone we serve.

The day then saw teams enter the 'Dragons’ Den', where they developed and pitched exciting new concepts. The challenge put colleagues’ ideas centre stage, making the most of the creativity, knowledge, and expertise found across our organisation.

Overall, Open House was a valuable opportunity to strengthen collaboration, share knowledge, and give colleagues a voice in developing the products and processes of the future. 🔄

Service dogs have a lasting impact on people’s lives: they provide assistance, companionship, and greater independence.

Jon recently attended the Service Dogs UK Conference and Awards in Arundel, where he learned more about the organisation’s work to train rescue dogs as PTSD assistance dogs for Armed Forces and Emergency Services veterans.

The awards recognised the difference these partnerships make and the people behind them, while highlighting the importance of supporting service animals during and beyond their working lives.

A round of 'apaws' from all of us to the nominees and winners, and thank you to the team involved in bringing together such a worthwhile event! 🐾👏
