If you have a variable rate....consider locking in rates - opting for a fixed-rate mortgage can secure a stable payment, offer predictability, and protect you against interest rate hikes (but make sure to CALL ME first).

If you have a higher rate....regularly monitor rates - keep track of interest rate trends and it MAY make sense to consider refinancing if rates drop significantly.

The KEY is to Build Financial Resilience: Ensure your financial plans consider a potential rate hike on renewal or an increase on variable rate and prepare for possible increases. This is where we talk about BUDGETS.
