I am forever grateful to Canada. When we fled in search of safety, this beautiful country welcomed us with shelter, food, freedom, and hope. It gave us the opportunity to rebuild our lives and become who we dreamed of being.

A beautiful soul whom we recently met and were blessed to know as our relative. We feel saddened that she is no longer with us and that we will not have the opportunity to experience more of her kindness, warmth, and relationship. Still, we are grateful that she became our samanthi and touched our lives in such a short time.
Kavitha Akka was a truly blessed and kind-hearted person. Her beautiful heart was reflected in the wonderful family she raised. She gave her two children the gift of a good life, strong values, and quality education.
I still remember her words at the hospital: “My daughter has all the talents to live this life. I gave her a good education and experiences so she can live her life to the fullest.” Yes, Kavitha Akka, you certainly did. You raised an amazing daughter and built a loving family that will always carry your values and strength.
You passed away while I was doing Shiva reading and Rudra Abhishekam. I truly believe you are now in the best place, resting peacefully in God’s embrace.
We love you, and I promise that I will do everything you asked for your daughter, Thanu. Your love, wisdom, and memories will remain with us forever.
