Saskatoon Fire and Flood Ltd. is once again supporting Care & Share's Coats for Kids campaign, collecting gently used winter clothing to help keep children in our community warm this winter!

If you have any coats, mittens, toques, boots or other winter essentials that could use a new home, this is a wonderful opportunity to pass them along and help make a difference.

Check out their post below for donation locations and details!

Our downtown office got a little makeover!

We recently gave the landscaping around our building a much needed refresh, and we’re so happy with how it turned out!

Butler Byers moved into our downtown building in 1978, and over the years, we’ve slowly grown into the entire building. With some of the old side entrances no longer in use, this was the perfect opportunity to remove the walkways that once led to them and give the whole space a fresh new look.

It’s amazing what a little greenery can do! The space feels so much brighter and more welcoming, and apparently we aren’t the only ones enjoying it. The neighbourhood birds wasted no time exploring all the new mulch.

A big thank you to Picturesk Landscaping for helping us bring it all together!

Swipe to see the transformation and where we started!

Our offices will be closed tomorrow, September 30th, in recognition of the National Day for Truth and Reconciliation.

The National Day for Truth and Reconciliation is a day to honour Survivors of residential schools, remember the children who never returned home, and recognize the lasting impacts the residential school system continues to have on Indigenous families and communities.

We encourage everyone to take time to listen, learn and reflect on our shared history and the ongoing journey toward reconciliation.

Our offices will reopen with regular hours on Thursday, October 1st.

One of our favourite BBI traditions made its return last night with our annual lawn bowling event at the Nutana Lawn Bowling Club!

It’s always such a fun night getting everyone together outside of the office for some lawn bowling, lots of laughs, a little friendly competition and, of course, some pizza!

A big thank you to the Nutana Lawn Bowling Club for another great evening and for always making our annual event so much fun!

Did you know your freezer burnt meat doesn’t have to go to waste?

Living Sky Wildlife Rehabilitation can put certain freezer burnt meats to good use by helping feed the wildlife in their care!

We recently cleaned out our freezers and were able to make a donation giving food that may have otherwise been thrown away a new purpose.

It’s such a simple way to reduce waste while supporting the incredible work being done for wildlife right here in Saskatchewan.

Thank you to the team at Living Sky Wildlife Rehabilitation for everything you do for our wild neighbours!

Our offices will be closed on Monday, September 7th for Labour Day.

We will be back to our regular hours on Tuesday, September 8th!

We hope everyone has a safe and relaxing long weekend!

Today we are celebrating Sydney!

Sydney first joined Butler Byers at our front reception 3 years ago and has since made the move into our Accounting Department. No matter where she is, one thing has always stayed the same: she’s the first to jump in and help wherever she can!

Whether she's helping a client, supporting our team or pitching in at one of our events, Sydney is someone we can always count on. She’s a great team player and brings such a helpful attitude to everything she does!

We’re so lucky to have her as part of our BBI team!
Happy Birthday, Sydney! We hope you have the best day!

What a great day on the course!

We had such a fun time at the Northern Resource Trucking Golf Tournament yesterday! Our team hit the course, enjoyed the beautiful weather and spent the day with so many great people.

It was a pleasure to be part of the day, both on the course and as a Hole-in-One Sponsor.

Thanks for having us, Northern Resources Trucking! We had a blast!

Remember some of the adorable faces who joined us for Drive & Shine?

Last weekend, we were lucky enough to have our friends from New Hope Dog Rescue join us at our 8th Street office and we think it’s only fair that the pups get a post of their own!

These sweet faces are just a few of the amazing dogs in New Hope’s care who are looking for their forever homes.

A huge thank you to the foster families and volunteers who brought the pups out to spend the day with us. We loved getting to know them, and we know more than a few of our visitors (and staff) fell in love!

Swipe through to meet the pups!

If someone catches your eye, visit New Hope Dog Rescue to learn more about their available dogs, adoption process, or other ways you can support the incredible work they do in our community.

And if you’re not quite ready to adopt... sharing this post might just help one of these cuties find the person who is.
