A median of responses expects the Bank of Canada to maintain its policy rate for the remainder of 2023 before it begins to cut rates in 2024. Most expect rates to fall by 1% mid year, and continue to fall to another .5% by year-end. Which means your variable mortgage rate, home equity line of credit and other variable rate loans would decrease by 1.5% by the end of 2024.

We as per routine update all our current variable clients with any big news, advice on whether to lock in or not and try to set expectations on where variable rates future is heading when even considering choosing one.

If your current Mortgage Agent or bank doesn’t do the same or if your a Realtor and your current financing specialist(among all the other great services we provide to realtor partners) doesn’t do the same for your clients then maybe it’s time to just look into joining our result driven and customer service dedicated team.
