Centering God in Everything I Do
In a world that constantly tells us to hustle harder, chase more, and rely solely on our own strength, I have found that true peace and purpose come from doing exactly the opposite: placing God at the center of everything I do.
For me, faith isn't something I reserve for Sunday mornings. It isn't a compartment of my life separate from my career, relationships, or decisions. It is the foundation upon which everything else is built.
Every day, I pray for wisdom, discernment, patience, and guidance. I ask God to help me serve people well, to act with integrity even when no one is watching, and to always put people before profit. I believe that success means very little if it comes at the expense of our values.
Proverbs 3:5–6 reminds us:
"Trust in the Lord with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding; in all your ways submit to Him, and He will make your paths straight."
There have been countless times throughout my life and career when I didn't have all the answers. There were challenges I couldn't solve on my own, doors that closed unexpectedly, and seasons that required complete trust in God's plan rather than my own.
Looking back, I can see His hand in every step.
Centering God in my life doesn't mean everything is perfect or easy. It means I have peace knowing that I am not carrying the weight of the world on my shoulders alone. It means making decisions rooted in honesty, compassion, and service. It means remembering that my identity is found in Christ, not in achievements, titles, production numbers, or recognition.
My prayer is that everyone I encounter feels seen, heard, and valued not because of what they can offer, but because they matter.
I don't just help people buy houses. I help families find places to create memories, build legacies, and experience the blessing of home.
I know I won't always get everything right, but I will continue to seek God's guidance in all that I do. I will continue to lead with faith, serve with integrity, and trust that He is directing my path.
Because at the end of the day, my greatest goal isn't simply to build a successful business.
It is to live a life that honors God.
To God be all the glory.
