What is a “wait-and-see” market? 📈📉

Following the Bank of Canada’s fifth consecutive rate hold, economists are calling this a wait-and-see market.

In other words: the Bank isn’t ready to raise rates, but it isn’t ready to lower them either. It’s waiting for more data before making its next move.
