Today, Deputy Chief Gerald Grobmeier, Insp. Robin Klassen and Special Olympics Alberta- Lethbridge athletes, Matthew and Levi, met with Schwartz Reliance's Chief Operating Officer, Kevin Chubb, to receive $4,500 that will assist with race preparations.

🚨Important Update for Alberta Driver’s Licence & ID Card Services! 🚨

Starting July 2, 2026, all Alberta driver’s licences and ID card renewals, replacements, and changes will require proof of Canadian citizenship or legal entitlement. Applicants must visit a registry office in person and bring original supporting documents and their Alberta Health Care card.

To help make your visit as smooth as possible, please ensure you have all the required documents before arriving. Processing times may be longer during the transition period, so we appreciate your patience and understanding.

Rain couldn't dampen the spirit of giving! ⛳

Last Friday (June 12,2026) at Picture Butte Golf Club , golfers, sponsors, volunteers, and supporters came together for the Golf for Kids' Sake tournament in support of Big Brothers Big Sisters of Lethbridge. Despite the wet fairways, rainy skies, and soggy conditions, participants showed incredible dedication by continuing to play, laugh, and support a cause that makes a lasting difference in the lives of local youth.

Together, we proved that when it comes to supporting kids, not even the rain can keep our community from showing up!
