Meet Zoe! We’re excited to introduce one of the newest members of The Mortgage Professionals team! Over the past several months, Zoe has been working alongside Chris Matthey and Sean Donohue as their assistant, and she’s already become an important part of the team.

While she originally had her sights set on a career in real estate, she soon realized that the mortgage industry was where she wanted to build her career. That’s what eventually led her to The Mortgage Professionals!

In just a short period of time, Zoe has made her mark around the office. She comes to work every day with a fantastic attitude, a willingness to learn, and a genuine drive to continue growing her knowledge, skillset, and understanding of the mortgage industry.

Some careers are planned. Others happen when you least expect them.

After spending the early part of her professional career working in Europe, Karen Matthey returned home and started helping her dad around the office. What she didn’t realize at the time was that this would be the beginning of a career in the Mortgage industry that would eventually lead her and her brother to take over their father’s mortgage business and ultimately for her to become part of the ownership group alongside a few partners.

Today, Karen is a co-owner of Mortgage Professionals, and her passion for the business is just as strong as ever. In this conversation, Karen talks about what she loves most about working at The Mortgage Professionals, the people she gets to work alongside every day, and how much she appreciates the incredible staff who continue to make the business what it is.

From helping her dad around the office to eventually becoming a co-owner of the brokerage, Karen’s story is a great example of how a career can start unexpectedly and become something much bigger than you ever imagined.

Faced with the probability of selling the home🏠, a shorter termed product at a slightly higher rate would save the client potentially thousands of dollars💰 in prepayment penalties should they have committed to a 5-year term.
