I’m incredibly honoured to share that I’ve been selected as a finalist for the Top 40 Under 40 Awards.

When I first received the nomination, I was genuinely touched. To know that someone looked at the work we are doing, the agency we are building, and the way we try to show up in our community, and felt it was worth recognizing, means so much to me.

Aurora has become such a special part of my life. I get to live here, work here, raise my family here, and build relationships with so many incredible people and businesses in this community.

That is not something I take for granted.

Over the past 10 years, this community has supported our agency in ways I am so grateful for. And in return, I have always felt a real responsibility to show up, give back where I can, and support the people and businesses around us.

There are definitely moments where I think I could be doing more, especially while running a business and raising young kids. But this recognition is such a meaningful reminder that the ways we show up, even the small ones, still matter.

Thank you to the Central York Chamber of Commerce and the Newmarket Chamber of Commerce for this honour, and to everyone who has supported us along the way.

There is nothing quite like the shift from work mode to mom mode. 😅

During the day, I’m on calls, answering questions, reviewing coverage, and trying to keep a thousand moving pieces going.

Then I come home, and suddenly I’m sitting on the floor, surrounded by toys, listening very seriously to a story that has no clear beginning, middle, or end.

It can be chaotic, but it’s also the life I feel really grateful to be building. I love the work I get to do, and I love getting to come home to the little moments that remind me why I do it all.

We’re looking forward to being back at the Aurora Chamber Street Festival this year. 🎉

This is one of our favourite community events of the year. There will be local vendors, food, entertainment, live performances, and so many amazing businesses all along Yonge Street.

It is such a great day to get outside, support local businesses, connect with familiar faces, and meet new ones.

We’ll have a booth set up and will also be walking around throughout the day, so come find us! We’ll be the team in the Gowda-Singh Insurance gear. 😉

Before you let your home insurance renew, take a few minutes to review what has actually changed. 🏡

A lot can happen in a year. Maybe you renovated, started working from home, bought something valuable, upgraded your roof, or never really looked closely at your water coverage.

Those details matter.

Your policy should reflect the home you have today, not the one you had when you first set everything up.

Because the last thing you want is to find out during a claim that something was not covered the way you thought it was.

Proud mama moment tonight watching my mini up on stage representing her school at an Asian Heritage Month event 🤍

As I watched her speak, I found myself thinking about my own early public speaking experiences… realizing how much the little moments quietly shape our confidence and who we become.

And somehow, in that one moment, I felt in the past, present, and future all at once. Thinking about the little girl I once was, being so proud of the little girl she is, and wondering who she’ll grow up to become.

Motherhood is wild like that.

This one felt like it deserved a permanent spot to hold space for this season of life 🤍
