👏 Farewell, Janelle 👏

Recently we said goodbye to a much loved member of our team, Janelle Preston as she stepped into a very well-earned retirement.

After an incredible 40+ years in the profession, 18 of them here at Grenfell Murray, Janelle has been a trusted expert in superannuation and tax, and a steady presence for the many clients who came to rely on her over the years. Her dedication, her deep knowledge, and the genuine relationships she built along the way have left a lasting mark on our firm and everyone who worked alongside her.

Janelle, thank you for everything you gave to Grenfell Murray and our clients. We miss you around the office and we wish you all the happiness, rest and adventure this next chapter has to offer. Enjoy every moment — you've earned it! 🎉💙

A big thank you to Master Builders Queensland for having us at Tuesday’s Sunshine Coast Local Info Session — and to the room full of builders and tradies who gave up a Tuesday night to talk tax, compliance and QBCC!

THEY DID IT. 🥾💙

Our GM Out of the Office, Out of the Blue Crew have crossed the finish line at Mooloolaba — 50km and 30km done, in the rain, on a whole lot of sand.

They started in the wet before sunrise. They finished tonight as a team. Somewhere in between there were blisters, sandy shoes, sore legs and a fair few belly laughs. But together they've raised significant funds for Beyond Blue.

To every one of our trekkers: we are so proud of you!

Beyond the blue ….and under the rainy skies….somewhere along the Sunshine Coast beachline this morning, our ‘GM Out of the Office, Out of the Blue Crew’ are on the Coastrek Sunshine Coast course walking for something that matters.💙

For our 50km trekkers, the day started wet, but a bit of rain was never going to dampen their spirits and when the blue skies opened momentarily, they managed to capture the beautiful essence of the dawning day, before the next rain surge. Pure legends!

Every step each of our trekkers take is raising awareness and funds for Beyond Blue's 24/7 Support Service. Support that's there for the millions of Australians living with anxiety and depression.

Go GM team! We could not be prouder of you. 🥾💙

Raising the Roof – one connection at a time. 🙌

Building connections, sharing stories, and celebrating the incredible women shaping the construction industry – that's what the Sunshine Coast Women in Building Lunch achieved last Thursday!

A huge thank you to Master Builders Queensland who nailed it 🔨 again hosting another outstanding event. The room was filled with inspiring conversations, engaging panel members, plenty of laughs, and a shared passion for supporting and empowering women across the building and construction sector.

We're proud to be part of such a strong and supportive community and our team always leave these events feeling inspired, connected, and excited about what's ahead.

A quick congrats also to Robyn from Phoenix Carpentry and Building on winning the draw prize.

Here's to continuing to build relationships, opportunities, and a stronger industry together. 🏗️

$216,000 raised for Sunnykids! 💚
What a vintage of a day at the SunnyKids Winemakers Master Class 🍷last Friday.

Thanks to an amazing community effort, this year’s event raised over $216,000 to support vulnerable children and families across the Sunshine Coast. From early intervention programs in schools to mentoring through sport, these funds will make a real and lasting impact.
