A huge shout-out to Bray Park State High School for its outstanding PBL program, which encourages students to live out the values of Trust, Respect, Integrity, Commitment, and Compassion in the classroom and beyond.

We’re so proud to support this cohort of young people as they continue to demonstrate the values that help build strong, kind, and connected communities.

Community Bank Samford’s Mandy, Nadine, Courtney and Dan recently attended a briefing on business opportunities ahead of the Brisbane 2032 Olympic and Paralympic Games, hosted by the Pine Rivers Chamber of Commerce.

Nicole Duguid of RDA Brisbane and Dominique Lamb of Brisbane 2032 shared insights on opportunities for businesses to be involved, and Paralympian Champion Brendan Hall and Olympic Champion Cate Campbell OAM offered perspectives from athletes on the opportunities that lie ahead.

With Brisbane 2032’s procurement program now open for Expressions of Interest (EOIs), Australian businesses have the opportunity to compete for a share of approximately $2.5 billion in contracts supporting the Olympic and Paralympic Games. Around 500 procurement opportunities will be available across a wide range of services, including catering, signage, accommodation, medical services and more.

This presents a significant opportunity for businesses in the Moreton Bay Region to get involved in one of Australia’s largest-ever events. 🏉 What a fantastic night at Suncorp Stadium!

Community Bank Samford's Mandy and Nadine were delighted to attend the VIP Moreton Bay Showcase hosted by Tourism and Events Moreton Bay ahead of the Dolphins NRL v Sydney Roosters NRL clash on Friday night.

The event provided a wonderful opportunity to connect with local businesses, community leaders and stakeholders while celebrating everything that makes the Moreton Bay region such a great place to live, work and visit.

A big thank you to Tourism and Events Moreton Bay for the invitation and hospitality. We enjoyed a great evening of networking, community connection and some outstanding rugby league action under the lights at Suncorp Stadium.

Congratulations to the Dolphins on their dominant 48-10 victory over the Roosters. What a performance! 💪🐬

We love seeing the impact Community Bank branches are making in the communities they serve.

From supporting Riding for the Disabled centres and grassroots sporting clubs, to helping provide meals for people experiencing hardship, funding life-saving emergency equipment and backing important community fundraising events, these initiatives demonstrate the power of community banking in action.

Every project funded helps strengthen local communities, improve wellbeing and create opportunities for people to connect, participate and thrive.

It's a great reminder that when communities support their local Community Bank, those profits are reinvested back into projects that make a genuine difference.
