💛 ARE YOU OKAY DAY – THURSDAY 10TH SEPTEMBER

💛At TPD Claim Support over 80% of our Clients are suffering severe mental health conditions. Whilst so many of them are very fortunate to have someone in their life to support them, many don’t, they are alone.

💛 if there is someone in your life whether it be family friend or work colleague and you’ve noticed something might be a little bit off , just reach out and simply say - Are you okay?

Let’s come together as a community to check in, start conversations, listen and remind each other that no one has to face things alone.

💛 A conversation could change a life.

💛 Please remember if you think that this does not work and nothing you can do will change the world…

“Remember asking this question might change the world for one person”

#💛

♦️ We are excited & delighted to be invited by the FAAA as a guest speaker at the November FAAA Congress in Melbourne.

♦️ Specifically, the session will explore "The Real Risks at Claim Time," sharing practical ideas, fresh perspectives and insights you can take back to your business that can really help you deliver more value to your clients and ensure you avoid some very real, costly and challenging risks.

♦️ Why "submitting the claim pack ASAP to get the ball rolling" is the worst possible action you can take in today's complex TPD world

♦️ If you're ready to challenge your thinking, connect with peers and be inspired by some of the brightest minds in financial advice, this is the event to be at.

♦️ Earlybird registrations are now open, so secure your place today via the FAAA website: www.faaa.au/congress

♦️ We can't wait to see you in Melbourne for three inspiring days of ideas, learning, connection, and celebration with Australia's financial advice profession. See you in November!

When Things Go Wrong: Safeguarding Your Practice from Claims & Complaints Risk Summit 2026

🔺 What a fantastic day — Susan & I were invited to present at the Entireti Risk Summit in Sydney yesterday at Marriott Hotels Harbourside on the very critical risks financial advisers face, and some key insights on how to safeguard.
🔺 Brilliantly MC'd by Aaron Zol with a great agenda including education partners from TAL Australia, Zurich Insurance, Acenda, PPS and a session from Swiss Re, to name a few.
🔺 For any planners in this group — and Akumin Advisory — if you're in Melbourne next week or Brisbane the week following, I highly recommend the day.
Our specific session included:
🔺 A practical panel session bringing together leading Risk Solutions Specialists and Entireti Risk & Compliance to unpack where complaints, incidents and claims most commonly go wrong.
🔺 Drawing on real-world case experience, the panel highlighted the key warning signs, documentation pitfalls and process failures that expose advisers and practices to unnecessary risk.
🔺 And some compelling TPD Claim Statistics.

✈️ See you all in Melbourne! 😊
