When Things Go Wrong: Safeguarding Your Practice from Claims & Complaints Risk Summit 2026

🔺 What a fantastic day — Susan & I were invited to present at the Entireti Risk Summit in Sydney yesterday at Marriott Hotels Harbourside on the very critical risks financial advisers face, and some key insights on how to safeguard.
🔺 Brilliantly MC'd by Aaron Zol with a great agenda including education partners from TAL Australia, Zurich Insurance, Acenda, PPS and a session from Swiss Re, to name a few.
🔺 For any planners in this group — and Akumin Advisory — if you're in Melbourne next week or Brisbane the week following, I highly recommend the day.
Our specific session included:
🔺 A practical panel session bringing together leading Risk Solutions Specialists and Entireti Risk & Compliance to unpack where complaints, incidents and claims most commonly go wrong.
🔺 Drawing on real-world case experience, the panel highlighted the key warning signs, documentation pitfalls and process failures that expose advisers and practices to unnecessary risk.
