Some of the hardest conversations I have aren’t about interest rates.

They’re with people who are quietly drowning: behind on repayments, too proud to say it, showing up to our chat with a big smile because that’s easier than the truth, answering “fine” repeatedly because that’s what society has always expected us to say.

So today’s not really about a hashtag for me. It’s about actually asking. And actually waiting for the answer.
