5 Star Google Review

"When my partner and I started thinking about buying a house, we had absolutely no idea where to start. A friend recommended Lukas and we reached out to him to set up our first appointment.

In that first meeting, we realised there was lot more that goes into buying a house than we had ever imagined. It was quite overwhelming! But, Lukas was patient and broke it down in a way we could digest.

When we built our confidence to start putting in offers, Lukas was there at every turn, talking us through any obscure and absurd questions we had.

When we finally got an offer accepted, Lukas was extremely swift, thorough and calming when guiding us through the next steps. He was also assertive and direct with the real estate agent, advocating for us when needed.

We absolutely could not have done it with out him. He was extremely knowledgeable, but also very relatable, friendly and kind. He always made time for us and we felt very supported.

Thanks so much for everything, Lukas!

P.s - Wonderfully aesthetically curated office space."

The Reserve Bank of Australia (RBA) has today decided to keep the cash rate unchanged at 4.35%, giving borrowers some welcome stability while it assesses how recent rate increases are flowing through the economy.

Inflation has shown some encouraging signs of easing, with annual headline inflation falling to 3.8% in June 2026, down from 4.0% in May 2026. However, underlying inflation remains higher than the RBA would like, with trimmed mean inflation holding at 3.6%.

With the temporary fuel excise reduction ending in early August 2026, petrol prices are expected to lift as the full excise is reinstated. This could add some upward pressure to headline inflation in the coming months and will be another factor for the RBA to monitor.

What could this mean for you?

Even when rates stay unchanged, your home loan doesn’t have to. It could be a good time to review your current rate, repayments and loan structure to make sure they still suit you.

Whether you're planning ahead or simply want to explore your options, I'm here to help.

At its meeting today, the Reserve Bank of Australia (RBA) has held the cash rate at 4.35%.

Today's decision reflects the RBA's cautious approach as it continues to assess inflation, economic growth and the impact of previous interest rate changes.

While inflation remains above the RBA's target range, higher interest rates continue to weigh on household spending and broader economic activity. There also remains uncertainty around property prices following last month's proposed taxation changes.

In a changing economic environment, staying informed about interest rate movements and how they may affect your financial position is important.

Whether you're planning ahead or simply want to explore your options, I'm here to help.

I’m excited to share that I have officially earned the Mortgage Finance Professional Australia (MFPA) designation, awarded by the Mortgage & Finance Association of Australia (MFAA) - marking Australia’s first tertiary level professional credential for mortgage brokers developed with RMIT University.

The MFPA designation symbolises professional leadership, integrity, and excellence in service which will assist in giving my clients added confidence that they're working with a highly qualified and ethical broker.

I’m incredibly proud to join this group of esteemed professionals and inspired to deliver even greater value to my clients. Here’s to elevating industry standards and empowering Australians on their financial journeys!

At its meeting today, the Reserve Bank of Australia (RBA) has increased the cash rate by 0.25%, with the official cash rate now sitting at 4.35%.

Today’s decision reinforces the RBA’s ongoing priority to bring inflation back within its 2–3% target range. The decision was supported by data released last week which showed inflation has continued to increase, largely due to global conflict-driven supply issues and higher fuel costs.

The data highlighted:

Headline inflation has risen to 4.6% for the 12 months to March 2026, up from 3.7% in February 2026.

Underlying (trimmed mean) inflation sits at 3.3%.

Fuel price inflation can take time to unwind, meaning price pressures may remain elevated even if broader economic conditions begin to stabilise. As the RBA navigates this more complex environment, staying informed about interest rate movements and what they mean for your financial position is increasingly important.

Whether you’re considering purchasing a home, refinancing to review your loan structure, or exploring investment opportunities, now is a timely opportunity to review your current lending arrangements and future plans.

Thanks to Dan Bull for making the time to drop into Best Financial Solutions to discuss what’s going on in the Maylands electorate.

My home and office are within the district and I’ve been really impressed with how hard Dan has been working to represent the needs of the community since being elected last year. It was great to hear more about key areas of focus currently and I look forward to working with Dan and his team to implement some initiatives to strengthen business networks here on Beaufort Street and surrounds.

In the meantime, if you’ve ever driven past the long vacant site at 207 Guildford Road in Maylands and wish that Coles would do something with it, Dan has a petition you can lend your signature to here https://danbull.org.au/vacant-guildford-road-site/. Used to go to gigs at Cascades back in the day before it burned down and it’s crazy to think nothing has been done with the land in 20 years.
